Biography

Henry Kwan is the Senior Vice President and Deputy Treasurer at East West Bank. In his role, Henry is responsible for managing the bank’s key risks related to liquidity, interest rate, and market risk exposure. He plays a critical role in optimizing the bank’s liquidity profile and advancing its practices to meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

Henry leads the Treasury Analytics team, where he spearheads the integration of data science into deposit analytics, interest rate risk modelling, liquidity forecasting, and stress testing. In addition to his domestic responsibilities, he oversees treasury risk management for the bank’s affiliates in the Greater China region.

Henry holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a CFA Charterholder.
